More realistic than any other book, however the writing wasn't THAT good. Still beats 50 shades of poor writing skill.
Uprooted
The worst book I have ever read. 17 years old girl acting like retarded 7 years old child, 100+years wizard acting like spoilt 13 years old. Whatever the book could offer was slaughtered by ridiculous characters and its 'Kasia'obssesion. The things she borrowed from Polish and Russian folklore (and ugh the names!) did not help either.
Vicious
In the end there was not much viciousness in the 'Vicious'. It did not blow my mind. I start to think I have much too high expectation from modern fiction. I didn't like the characters nor their motives. The language was simple, the plot was not well thought out. Eli in the end made such a rookie mistake that I refuse to consider the ending credible. Digging up graves was the most 'fun' part of the book. That says a lot.

Dawno przestałam oczekiwać od polskiej fantastyki by skradła moje serce. Jednak zdaża mi się marzyć przez co sięgam od czasu do czasu po polskich autorów. Zawód za zawodem. I tak było tym razem. Książka była okej do pewnego momentu, w którym zaczęłam mieć nadzieję, ze faktycznie się rozkręci. To był ten moment w którym wszystko zeszło na psy. Dałoby radę to przełknąć. Niestety im bliżej końca tym mniej chciało mi się czytać. A długie przemowy do księdza pedofila sprawiały, że laktura była bardziej męcząca niż powinna. Sam pomysł był ciekawy niestety gorzej z jego wykonaniem.
